I am Shengzhe Gan (Electronic and Electrical Engineering, SUSTech), an undergraduate student & researcher in robotics and 3D perception. My current work focuses on World Model, SLAM, active 3D Perception & reconstruction, and 3D Gaussian splatting.

I study with Prof. Hong Zhang (IEEE Fellow) in the SUSTech Robotics and Computer Vision Lab on reflection-aware SLAM (augmenting Fast-LIO with vision-based masking). As a remote intern with Dr. Fangneng Zhan at Harvard Visual Computing Group, I contribute to AREA3D, combining geometric confidence with VLM-guided exploration for active reconstruction. At Notre Dame ROAR Lab guided by Prof. Mengxue Hou, I explore active perception for grasping with 3DGS and point-cloud models.

Passionate about robotics, computer vision, and AI, with hands-on research experience in SLAM, 3D reconstruction, and active perception. Skilled in ROS noetic, ROS humble, PyTorch, and 3D Gaussian Splatting. Seeking opportunities to contribute to cutting-edge robotics and AI projects.
